Katherine first found circus ages 11 at her secondary school where they had it as an extracurricular activity. It was there that started learning static trapeze. Subsequently she has now gone on to specialise in static trapeze at the National Centre for Circus Arts. Katherine first started learning flying trapeze in 2015 where she was taught by James and Carleen in London. In 2019, Katherine asked to come and work at Highfly Trapeze for work experience and after impressing them she joined the team! This is Katherine’s first year as a full time coach
