About
James first tried the trapeze in 1995 whilst on holiday with Club Med. From that point on he was addicted and knew it would be part of his life forever. James regularly returned to Club Meds to practise trapeze as much as possible throughout his teenage years and early twenties and was fortunate enough to be taken under the wing of their head of trapeze, Bob Christians, who helped fuel his love for the trapeze.
Unable to practice trapeze as regularly as he wanted to, it was only when James found Gorilla Circus in London that he was then able to progress at a faster pace where he went from student to staff culminating in becoming the schools duty manager. Along the way, James also got to work performing and coaching domestically and abroad in Europe, America and the Middle East establishing himself as one of the best catchers in the UK. He has also trained with and been taught by some of the greatest trapeze artists from around the world.
In 2018, James decided it was time to try a new challange so brought his own rig (called Bob in honour of the great Mr Christians) and setup his own school to share his love of the trapeze with as many other people as possible.
